CUDA Binary Utilities

A collection of NVIDIA tools, including cuobjdump and nvdisasm, for examining binaries produced by nvcc.

The CUDA Binary Utilities are a collection of tools for examining the contents of binaries, like those produced by nvcc, the NVIDIA CUDA Compiler Driver.

The tools#

  • cuobjdump examines and manipulates entire host binaries, or the CUDA-specific cubin files normally embedded inside them.
  • nvdisasm works on cubin files. It extracts SASS assembler and manipulates it, for example by building control flow graphs and mapping assembly instructions to lines in CUDA source files.
